500ml bottle from Lifesource Natural Grocer in Salem OR
$4.99
Cloudy burnt orange colour with a nice frothy, thick eggshell white head.
Great orange and lemon marmalade aromas. Very nice indeed.
The taste has more pine than the aroma..but still has a nice fruity citrus flavours..especially in the end of the mouthful.
Nice mouth feel..nicely carbonated and soft finish.
Excellent strong NEIPA..i was let down by their last bottled beer but this is good stuff.

Bottle:
Pours a very hazy, bordering on cloudy. White frog egg head sits stationary until I go for a sip, sticking to the side when I do.

Nose is nicely tropical with a bitter skin bitterness to keep that in check. Mango, papaya, maybe some overripe pineapple. A green skin bitterness could have a very little spruce-like twinge in there.

The overripe part comes out here - similar notes to the nose, but with the extra tingle of leaning towards starting fermentation themselves. There’s a malt tea strain running through the fruit. A somewhat piney hop note adds a little bitterness, but not too powerful.

A fine feel, medium bodied, fair carbonation but with a certain softness.

This beer is a true NW style IPA. Tropical fruit aroma with caramel malt. The flavor has that great citrus and pine hops blend. Caramel malt smooths it out - well balanced. Flavorful, resinous and a dry finish. A very nice beer overall
