Caramel and nutty undertones, offset by solid hop finish. Red berry and pomegranate flavors with a strong piney aroma and undertones of tropical fruit.

500ml bottle from New Seasons Market. Light, clear amber pour, thin layer of fine foam. Initial hit of caramel in the aroma, backed by a light hoppiness. Sweet caramel malts lead the taste, tobacco and then some bittering hops. Reminds me of the English style IPAs

A little to piney for my taste, but still quite drinkable. Aroma is pine, citrus, and lemon. Color is a light hazy golden with a medium head that stays awhile. It is a good variation on a hazy IPA even though I like hazy IPA's this one is not my favorite.

Expected more nose. Not as smooth as the best coast ipa.

Bottle, no date:
Pours with a light haze and nearing copper amber body. Soapy off-white head that is quite lasting, leaving small spots of lace.
Nose is mostly piney, with a light malt presence and just a hint of citrus rind.
A decently carbonated brew, there is a light grain bread backbone. The pine comes out on the woody side and transitions towards the branches but only gets to the base of the needles. I actually like it doesn’t go full green or resinous. I sort of get a dry orange rind note that cleans the end nicely, leaving just a little dry tingle of bitterness.
A leaning more toward balanced IPA that still has a nice bitterness that begs me for another sips after each one.

Slightly hazy, deep amber in color. Foamy, orange cream head with streak lacing. Aroma is caramel malt and fruit. Pine and citrus notes as well. Flavor is similar- caramel malt and some earthy qualities followed by pine, berries, citrus and tropical fruit. A very good beer overall.
