Powerful citrus hop aromas that fade to pine. Chocked-full of Mosaic, Citra and Cascade hops to add a juicy, West Coast hop burst.

First Time to Ancestry Brewing and decided to try this IIPA as this is what I like. I was not disappointed this is a very good beer, hop forward with no bitter after taste. Orangey color and light head that goes away rather fast. Rated 12-18-2018

Bottle from New Seasons Market. Orange gold and pour with soft foamy head, not very impressive-looking. Aroma is Light Citrus not getting much here. Taste is also kind of weak not even very hoppy I'm thinking I had the same experience Ried had, this is a bad bottle or it's just kind of weak overall not impressed at all

500ml bottle from Roth's Vista Market in Salem OR
$4.99
Pours a cloudy burnt range colour with a nice thick and rocky cream coloured head ( I hope this is not off..because none of the other reviews say its cloudy).
Ahh aroma..cramel, toffee barely any hop..damn does not look good.
Taste ..cramel and some sickly weak pine hops..this is off...gone.
Not infected just dead .
Leaving this up to see if this is a common problem.

Bottle, no date:
Pours near clear golden amber with a solid white head. Lasting and with strong lace-producing qualities.
A decent grapefruit citrusy hop note with a light grain tea background.
Similar to nose; a clean and balanced beer, with a toasted grain opening that has a pink grapefruit zest follower. Little more rind and pith by the end, it doesn’t get too bitter, and only starts leaning that way once it gets warmer. A little bit of a sweeter citrus, maybe tangerine, gets in the mix by the end.
I’d let this one get to a proper temperature before digging in. It’s more of an APA with a bit of chill, but becomes a little more bitter near the bottom of the glass.

Deep orange color, slightly cloudy. Creamy head with heavy streak lacing. Aroma is tangerine and spice. Some caramel malt as well. The flavor is dank herbs, ripe fruit, and the caramel malt. Very well balanced. Juicy and somewhat resinous. A touch of citrus and pine hops bite in the aftertaste. A good beer overall.
