Our take on a classic Belgian Strong Ale, with stone-fruit and rum soaked banana bread flavors.

The head is off white and dissipates quickly. You can smell the alcohol, but not real strong and has a fairly light and smooth mouth feel. This is one delicious beer in my opinion. Had it today in a sample but will be returning to get a glass or maybe a growler.

only the second beer i have ever had from these guys, and like the last one a very well made example of its style, even if it lacks a defining characteristic other than quality, heck it even lacks a name, but the beer in the glass is excellent. not super dark in color, high headed, and bubbly all the way though. it has strong sweet malt notes to it, everything from buttery caramel to english toffee, bran muffin, honey, and complimentary belgian yeast that gives it a sort of candied complexion, wintery and hearty in aroma and flavor, but its never heavy, nor is it boozy, its strength is extremely well hidden, not even really coming out much as it warms up. i like the body being not too heavy, it lets all the sweetness in here not totally overwhelm the palate, and nuances of raisin, caramel, new oak, and date come out beautifully. a simple beer really, equal parts malt and yeast driven, but there is great balance and even complexity to the flavors, impressively made, bubbly and even dry for what it is. i could drink a couple glasses of this no problem!
