Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a clear golden amber color with a one finger head of fizzy white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving a little bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is rather sweet with lots of caramel and fruity aromas of orange and some light harvest fruits. Along with these smells comes a little bit of a grainy smell as well as a touch of yeast.
Taste – The taste begins as the nose would have suggested with a rather sweet taste of a caramel and bready malt flavor mixed with some fruity flavors of orange, apricot, and pear. As the taste advances some lighter notes of yeast, coriander and clove, along with a hint of a grassy and herbal hop taste come to the tongue and leave one with a sweet but crisp taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - The body of the brew is thin and crisp with a carbonation level that is slightly higher. For the flavors and easy going nature of the brew, as well as the lower abv. the feel is great and makes for a nice easy and refreshing drinker.
Overall – While a little on the sweeter side the brew has some nice flavors and is easy drinking overall. A good session style brew.
