Clean cream ale with a lager-like mouthfeel and familiar taste. Not stylistically mindblowing, but it's certainly a fine representation of a plain traditional cream ale. Some variants of this would be nice.

I had this at the brewery. It pours a hazy straw color with a thin, milk-white head and minimal lacing. Cream ales generally don't have a strong aroma. This one mostly smells of corn, malt, and yeast. It has a slightly sweet taste of malt and corn. It's pleasant but not really distinctive. It is creamy, refreshing to drink, and is truly sessionable at 5% ABV. Overall, it is a good example of its style but it lacks the special character of, say, Ballast Point's Calm Before the Storm (coffee) or Carton's S.S.-Cream (hoppy). It is a good basic ale but needs a little oomph.
