a: a murky, muddy dark brown color. pours a 2 finger tan head, but that fades quite quickly
s: freshly ground coffee beans, brown sugar, oak, dark chocolate, and toasted malt (which puts a little bit of bitterness in the aroma)
t: fresh coffee, cola, roasted malts, a little nutty flavor, and a light caramel upfront. oak and dark chocolate follow the initial flavors and close out the taste. the taste is a bit think, but it doesn't kill the beer by any means
m: lighter side of medium. carbonation is low-mid level. does feel like a soda in the mouth
o: interesting beer. its lower on the abv, and you feel that in the mouth and the flavor is a bit thin; however the flavors in here are still nice. the coffee tastes fresh, and there is a nice brown ale base. its surprisingly refreshing for the style, but could use a touch more body. i enjoy the low abv of this though
