A: a silly matte black color. Tan head that is pretty solid, but settles for a nice film on top
S: tons of coffee upfront, roasted malt, oak , kiwi, and more coffee. Definitely a coffee-forward smelling beer
T: coffee, roared malts, wood, some bitterness from roast. There is a sweet melon taste after the initial coffee hit, a hint of strawberry as well
M: solid medium mouthfeel. Not a huge amount of carbonation, but it works with the coffee level
O: as a Black Ale, this could use a touch more hops. BUT as a coffee beer this is great. The coffee is in your face, but smooth. The melon is an interesting addition to the flavor. Worth a try
