Pint on draught at the brewery. It pours a turbid, muddy tangerine color with a thin, milk white head and a creamy sheen of lacing. The fragrant nose features orange peel, peach, grapefruit, and floral hops. As to the taste, there are lots of oats up front with lemon peel, grapefruit, and a touch of sweet orange on the tip of the tongue. The fruit is balanced by a flavorful blend of Mosaic and El Dorado hops that are not overly bitter. It finishes quite dry with a slight astringent burn. This ale has a rich, creamy mouth feel with pleasant carbonation, and its 7.2% ABV seems just right. Overall, this is a solid American IPA that in my opinion suffers by comparison to several of the great New England IPAs that Twin Elephant has brewed recently.

A: hazy matte burnt orange caramel color with a 1/2 finger beautifully vibrant white head
S: mango, pineapple, orange creamsicle, passion fruit, big bready yeast character, and a hint of grapefruit rind
T: pineapple and grapefruit right away. There is a quick citrus bitterness on the back of the tongue followed by a passion fruit and apricot sweetness. Blood orange and a big biscuity malt character close it out
M: medium mouthfeel, EXTREMELY fluffy, with low carbonation
O: another really good NE IPA. This has a nice kick of bitterness which give a nice character to the beer. A nice mix of sweet and bitter citrus with some mellow tropical fruits
