Yes, yes, ya’ll! This foatress houses liquid swords straight hanso-in’ fresh fruit back, back, forth and forth. Killer cut of Citra, El Dorado, & Simcoe cryo droppin’ the needle on the groove. Pilsner and wheat shake the frame in 1/2. Notes of free’d up lady marmalade, mango preserve, valencia cocktail and honey caramelized apricots and watermelon juice.

A big, foamy, off-white head holds two inches for a long while, never falling below one-half inch. The beer has a milky, pale gold glow. A coating of dense, puffy lace obscures the top of a Strangebird IIPA glass. Unfortunately, the haziness hold it back, because I expect the style to be clear.
Onions and orange juice dominate over the floral notes which occasionally waft through. Warmth produces faint to medium lemon juice. The onion returns with strength after extended warmth.
Bitterness is concealed by papaya, while the sweetness is also restrained. Neither is light, by any means. Simply lighter than expected. Orange juice and pine follow and the finish lingers with dry bitterness.
The medium body feels much more full and almost dense due to the smooth, creamy oats. Light, prickly carbonation is throughout. Alcohol is as expected. A light mineral quality works well. There is also a ton of residual sugar left on the lips.
This beer is a puzzle, with many attributes being masked by contrasting qualities. All said, it resembles and old school, East Coast IPA, even though it looks like an NEIPA. It is very enjoyable to both the senses and the mind.
Thank you, Jason.

1/20/19....Twin elephant. Vigilante tantrum. Cloudy full block out yellow. Light foam that clings. Lemon citrus nose. Other tropical fruits too. Light malt taste, citrus pours in. Subtle grape and pepper hop. Smooth almost creamy. Real damn good. 4 425 425 4 425

This version is DDH with Simcoe, Citra, and El Dorado
A: super-hazy Pale muted orange color with a 1/2 finger vibrant white fluffy head
S: huge hit of onion upfront. Melon, orange peel, tangy pineapple, and guava behind that. Bready/crackery malt backbone
T: follows the nose closely. Onion and pineapple dominate the mouth. Melon and guava begins that. A touch of mango and sweet orange add a nice accent. Mild bready yeast in there as well
M: heavier side of medium, but not that fluffy. Low carbonation
O: good stuff. The Simcoe definitely takes center stage in this variation. Not too heavy, and refreshing. I might reclassify this as a NEIPA

Reviewed on release date. Pint pour at the brewery. It pours an opaque, murky golden-yellow color with a half finger of creamy, milk-white head that lasted through the pour, and thin but attractive lacing. The nose features lemon, lime, grapefruit, mango, and light floral hops. The taste opens with tart lemon and lime with notes of orange marmalade. The oats add a slight touch of sweetness but overall the taste is very dry. The Simcoe and El Dorado hops add flavor but not much bite. This ale is medium-bodied with light creaminess and lively carbonation. Its very drinkable at 6.7% ABV. Overall, this IPA is on the dry side and very easy to drink. It has some nice tart citrus but it's no fruity bomb.
