A: a dark murky ruby red purple color with some light brown mixed in there. Had on tap, but no head

S: rye, roasted malts and pepper upfront. Big bready notes (like rye bread) behind that with some sweet malt.

T: this ones pretty close to a liquid bread. Lots of rye spice, and a big bready malt character upfront. Some fresh cracked black pepper on the sides of the tongue. Some light caramel and a touch of generic berry sweetness behind that. A touch of cardamom and more rye spice and bread at the end

M: solid medium mouthfeel with pretty high carbonation

O: I think this has nice balance for a rye beer. It’s not too spicy, and has a nice balance and good mouthfeel
