Pint pour at the brewery. It pours an opaque, muddy yellow color with a fluffy, bright white cap and a thin, creamy sheen of lacing. It's a fine looking pour. It smells like a Belgian Ale: Coriander, clove, lemon, lime, a whiff of banana, and sweet floral hops. The initial taste is tart - almost sour - lemon with sweet banana and orange on the tip of the tongue. At mid-sip there are notes of wheat cracker followed by clove and pepper. The flavorful bill of Rakau, Denali, and Southern Cross hops adds moderate bitterness. The Ale finishes both sour and bitter. Its feel is plush and creamy with lively carbonation, and with a moderate 6.2% ABV a second pour is not a problem. Overall, this is an interesting beer - while the brewery describes it as a "White IPA," it's really a hybrid of a Belgian Wheat Ale and an American IPA. It certainly has attributes of both. Whatever it is, it's really pleasant drinking!

It’s labeled as a White IPA at the brewery, I’m logging it as a Belgian IPA
A: super hazy pale orange color with yellow notes on the outside and some darker orange, almost brown, notes towards the center
S: coriander, hay, sweet clementines, blood orange, grapefruit, pepper, pear, and wheat. Real nice smell
T: creamsicle, grapefruit, and pineapple upfront. A smooth hit of pepper spice behind that. Some wheat and sweet orange behind that. Dry cracker, pineapple, and clove finish it out. A touch of grapefruit bitterness at the end as well
M: fluffy medium mouthfeel with mid-high carbonation
O: an nice style blend that works for me. Some nice Belgian spice combined with some tasty hops. Good stuff
