Swirl, sip, enjoy, repeat. Back to the lab again, another single hopped IPA to showcase and educate. This IPAs snoot to toot Wakutu, a New Zealand released aroma hop, used in the mash, whirlpool and dry hop. We packed the tank full and prayed the funk would make ya’ll freak! Our little creation turned on its’ master and the flavors that emerged were pleasantly different than our previous Wakutu blended libations. Notes rife with rangpur lime, little swerves of lemon and an incredibly snug bitter orange finish.

A: hazy yellow color with some light caramel notes. Thin white head
S: sweet lemon, earthy grains, slightly funky. Bubblegum and pear
T: sweet lemons, funk, and bubblegum upfront. Pear sweet earthy grains behind that a touch of mango as well
M: medium mouthfeel with mid carbonation
O: awesome showcase of a great New Zealand hop. Awesome stuff, with a great hop
