On draught at the brewery. Pint pour. It pours an opaque, muddy golden-yellow color. The foamy, milk-white head and lacing dissipated quickly leaving a thin sheen of lacing. It's smell features lemon, lime, grapefruit, onion, lactose, and lite floral hops. The taste opens much sweeter than the nose indicated with lemon, cantaloupe melon, and lactose/vanilla, then turns strongly bitter with tart grapefruit and pine. It's quite dank. The bill of Hallertau Blanc, Summit, and Enigma hops bites hard and leaves a very bitter and peppery after taste. There's quite a bit of astringency. It has a very good balance of sweet and bitter. The feel is creamy and fairly viscous with pleasant carbonation, and the 7.1% ABV gives it nice substance. Overall, I don't think I've experienced this blend of hops before but I really like it. There's nothing subtle about this American IPA. It has sweet fruit and really bitter hops. It has attitude!
