A: super hazy burnt orange color with some caramel notes in there. Very matte. Thin, white head
S: huge punch of mango, passionfruit, pineapple, guava, strawberry, apricot, tangerine, and sweet candied apricots. Little bit of a crackery nose as well
T: huge punch of sweet earthy mango and blueberry. Candied apricots and tangerines behind that. Some sweet caramel in here as well. A nice hit of honey and clementines. A little bit of dough in the backbone as well
M: medium, silky chewy mouthfeel with almost no carbonation
O: real nice DIPA. Sweet, but with enough of a tropical note to make it not cloying. Not bitter at all

Pint pour on draught at the brewery. It pours a turbid, muddy golden color with a creamy, milk-white cap and extensive, soapy lacing. The smell includes lemon, grapefruit, pine needles, and light but fragrant hops. The taste opens with very tart lemon and grapefruit rind, with a base of wheat cracker, and a hint of honeydew melon. As the glass warms, the flavors really come alive and there is much more melon presence. The brewery doesn't list the hop bill but the hops add a lot of flavor without much bitterness. There is a touch of pepper and a very slight yeast burn that dissipates as the glass warms. The flavors are nicely balanced. The best thing about this ale is its feel: It is super creamy with pleasant carbonation, and it is super drinkable at 8.2% ABV. Overall, this ale really blossomed I as I drank it. It's a dense, flavorful DIPA.
