Pint on draught at the brewery. It pours a semi-opaque, golden-tangerine color with a thin but creamy milk-white head and thin coating of spotty lacing. Its fragrant aroma includes tangerine, lemon, onion, light pine, rye, and floral hops. The taste opens with tart lemon, tangerine, onion, white wine, spicy rye, and pine needles. The bill of Hellertau Blanc, Cascade, and Rakau hops adds an interesting and pleasing taste profile but is not very bitter. As the glass warms there is also a hint of caramel and there are notes of pepper and spice at the finish. The ale is dry but flavorful. It is crisp and lite in body with lively carbonation, and its 7.2% ABV gives it nice substance. Ongo reminds me of a Brut IPA; it's dry and crisp with some champagne qualities but flavorful and has an interesting hop bill that works. It's not my favorite Twin Elephant IPA but I'm glad I tried it.

Added as a NEIPA, they classify as Rye IPA

A: slightly hazy golden amber color with some fluffy orange notes. Large frothy white head

S: creamsicle, clementines, attrwberry, pineapple and ripe mango. A touch of earthy herbal spice and a sweet malty close

T: follows the nose pretty close. Creamsicle, clementine and ripe mango upfront. Sweet grapefruit and dank strawberry behind that. Nice bit of sweet malt in here as well. A touch of herbal hops at the end with some grassy spice. No real bitterness

M: medium, fluffy mouthfeel with low carbonation

O: on the sweeter side, with a ripened fruit note. The rye is mellow, but prevents from becoming too sweet. Overall a good beer, just a touch sweet
