1/21/19....golden blonde with fast fizzy white foam that settles all the way out. Yeasty nose. Some citrus sneaks through. Fruity. light bodied bubblegum flavor. Latent sharp peppery bitter bite. Slight citrus lemon. Really flavorful.

On-tap at the brewery. 16 oz serving.
Deep gold/light amber and hazy. There was a tiny head on it when it was poured but it immediately fizzled out and the beer looked still when it was served. I wanted that big fluffy Belgian head and that classic Belgian lace! Oh well...
Spicy hops and yeast on the nose with sweet grainy malt. Fruitiness in the aroma and flavor, mostly lemon. Perfect amount of spice to this one. This could pass as a spiced winter beer or a summer refresher. Carbonation is high - you can feel it on your tongue - despite the non-existent head. Very smooth, medium body.
Definitely on the lighter end of the spectrum for a Belgian Blond, in terms of strength, not color. Flavors here are on point, just need to fix the head problem and this could be a really great beer.

Pint on draught at the brewery. It pours a cloudy honey color with a very thin, milk-white head and spotty lacing. The subdued nose features oats, biscuit, coriander, and lemon. The taste is much bigger and bolder than the nose. It opens with Belgian spices: clove, coriander, and pepper. But there is also soft oat sweetness and notes of lemon. It's very good. The feel is crisp with lively carbonation and it's easy to drink with an ABV of 5.9% Overall, it's a nice flavorful and easy drinking Belgian Ale. Twin Elephant is very adept at brewing the various Belgian styles.

A: murky burnt orange color with a hint of rust-like color as well. Head was 1/2 finger but dropped rapidly to a thin film
S: seeet grains, oats, grass, pepper, pears, lemons, a hint of honey and some bread
T: grains, lemongrass, and grass upfront. Some bready cake, bubblegum, and oats follow. Subtle pear and green apple in here as well with a compliment of pepper spice. As with the nose there is some honey towards the end. Light bread as well
M: medium mouthfeel with mid-high carbonation
O: awesome blonde ale. The little bit of spice in here as well adds a nice Belgian flare
