Pint on draught at the brewery. It pours an opaque, pale yellow color with slight orange hues, and a creamy, bright white cap and spotty lacing. The smell features pineapple, lemon, vanilla/cream, floral hops, and a whiff of spice. The taste opens with nice, bitter, lemon and grapefruit rind with just a bit of pineapple sweetness. At mid-sip there is a touch of cracker malt. It finishes quite dry and bitter. The pineapple is subtle and a nice balance to the bitter citrus without being too sweet. For an APA it has a really nice, creamy mouthfeel with pleasant carbonation, and it's a really easy drinking ale at 6.1% ABV. Overall, E-Town (which is a nickname for Elizabeth, NJ) is a first rate APA. It's very tasty and has a killer mouthfeel. It was perfect outdoors on a sunny, late summer afternoon.

A: murky burnt orange color with some yellow and light amber notes as well. 1/2 finger solid white head
S: pineapple, mango, passionfruit, papaya, sweet melon, creamsicle, guava, and crackers. Super juicy smelling, it makes the mouth water
T: smooth pineapple, Indian mango, grapefruit upfront. Clementines, papaya, and dragon fruit behind that. Slightly grassy hoppy note slides in here as well. A hint of tea leaf and more mango towards the end. Finish has a touch of bitterness
M: creamy medium mouthfeel with mid carbonation
O: a solid APA. Has a nice balance of tropical fruit to bitterness. Each sip begs you to take another
