Nosh: Citra & Mosaic is an American IPA that comes in at 6.8% ABV. Citra grips with her fleshy mango thumbs and Mosaic provides the pulpy patchwork. Blow the froth off a few! Notes of orange blueberry bread, orange peels in fresh berry syrup and simple white cake.

A: hazy light copper, dark yellow and murky orange. 1/2 finger vibrant white fizzy head

S: oranges, clementines, pineapple, mango and passionfruit. Dry crackers and orange zest towards the end. A faint hint of blueberry cobbler as well

T: follows the nose. Sweet oranges, blueberry, mango, clementines, and a sweet berry cobbler. A little bit of anger food cake as well. Finish is sweet orange, and a hint of grapefruit

M: medium mouthfeel with low-medium carbonation

O: real nice beer here. Citrus and berry. Bitterness is pretty much non-existent. Very easy to drink

Pint pour on draught at the brewery. It looks like orangeade: a bright, lemony orange color with a creamy, snow white cap and a thick, soapy film of lacing. A very pretty pour. It smells of tangerine, lemon, ripe melon, and a whiff of onion. Not much hops on the nose. The taste opens with tart lemon and grapefruit, along with a crackery malt and subtle pine. The bill of Citra and Mosaic hops delivers more citrus than bitterness. It's definitely on the fruity side. The mouth feel is fairly lightly-bodied with a pleasant level of carbonation, and it's an easy drinker at 6.8% ABV. My glass was finished very quickly. Overall, the name of this American IPA says it all: the Citra and Mosaic hops really shine. It's a great ale for outdoor drinking in warm weather.
