a: super hazy matte pale yellow and orange color. pours a nice 2.5 finger frothy off-white head. this beer is so hazy it almost looks solid
s: sweet oranges, creamsicles, honeydew. raw hops, cantaloupe, and spruce. mango, passionfruit, and strawberry kiwi. big crackery note along with some sugary strawberry candy. there is a distinct sweetness on the backend as well. the nose is definitely sweeter, but doesn't smell too sweet
t: interesting. sweet caramel and spruce tea upfront. bitterness from the spruce and ripe mango. sweet orange juice with a hint of sweet lemon zest. a hint of sweet raspberries and some earthy white grapes.
m: super super fluffy mouthfeel with low carbonation
o: very interesting flavor profile here. the combination of the spruce, along with a touch of tropical hops as well as some earthy grapey hops makes for a unique drinking beer

Pint on draught at the brewery. This is a different beer than Inspiring Hope, which is a New England IPA. It pours an opaque golden-tangerine color with more than a finger of fluffy, bright white head and thick, clinging lacing. It's a lovely pour. It has a subtle nose featuring lemon peel and spruce notes. It's really tasty; you can taste the Nelson Sauvin hops in the first sip, along with crisp lemon and grapefruit. There's also a background of sweeter fruit from the Galaxy hops and a hint of vanilla It's really fresh and the flavors blend very well. It finishes with a peppery, bitter bite courtesy of the El Dorado hops. It has a great mouth feel: crisp with lively carbonation, and while its 7.1% ABV gives it good substance it's extremely drinkable; I drained the pint before I knew it. Overall, this is an excellent American IPA. The Nelson hops shine and the spruce adds a nice seasonal taste.
