Pint on draught at the brewery. It pours an opaque, pastel tangerine color with a milky head and thick, soapy lacing. Its fragrant nose features lemon, lime, oats, and the unique smell of Nelson Sauvin hops. It's a dank ale and the taste is a flavorful blend of bitter grapefruit, and lemon peel, bready oat sweetness, and white wine, with mild, earthy bitterness at the finish courtesy of the Idaho 7 hops. The mouth feel is rich and creamy with a pleasant level of carbonation. Depending on whether you read the chalkboard or the printed tap list, the ABV is either 6.6% or 7.2% Either way it drinks easily. Overall, Separate Entirely is very flavorful and represents a great use of Nelson and Idaho 7 hops. I enjoyed it.
