Swirl, Sip, Enjoy, Repeat...Nosh just ate Nosh. Dialed the series up to 11 and rolled out the dynamic duo. The grist is clean and bright, American and Belgian pilsner malt leavened with malted oats. Kept the bitterness low letting the hops make the noise. Dry finish with a middle of the road chew. Smells like lemon orange cake, lime tang, sugar cookies. Tastes like mango gummy bears, baked peach nectar, strawberry honey bunches of oats.

Reviewed less than a week after can release. Poured into a Twin Elephant pint glass. It pours an opaque, dirty golden-yellow color with two fingers of foamy, bright white head and lots of sudsy lacing. The fragrant nose features lemon, lime, and fresh grassy, herbal notes. It's like walking through a forest after a rainstorm. The taste is fruity and fresh with lots of lemon, lime, tangerine, peach, and a taste that reminds me of mint. There is also a hint of oats but it compliments the crispness of the fruit. The Citra and Motueka (one of my favorite hops) provide lots of flavor with only mild bitterness. This ale is crisp and lite with fairly lively carbonation and you just don't feel the 8.9% ABV. Overall, this iteration of Nosh may be the best yet. The whole exceeds the sum of its parts. I'm impressed how lite and crisp it is for its alcohol level. It's a great palate cleanser. I hope that Twin Elephant brews it again in warmer weather.
