A: murky burnt orange and pale yellow color with a 4 finger rocky and frothy bright-white head
A: sweet grains and grass upfront. Freshly ground coffee lemongrass, and a hint of sweet citrus. A nice herbal spice and a touch more sweet grains and coffee
T: fluffy sweet grains, straw, hay, and coffee. Lemongrass and a very subtle floral hop note. A touch of alcohol in here; it’s not sharp, but it’s there. A little sweet citrus too, and huge bready note as the backbone
M: fuller side of medium, with moderate carbonation, though I’d expect a bit more carb for the style
O: interesting take on the style. The coffee subtle and not in your face, which is nice. I think they could have dialed it down on the ABV, and a touch more carb. Overall though it’s enjoyable if you like coffee and Kölsch
