(Listed by brewer as an American Pilsner, I'm rating it as a German Pilsner since there is no American Pilsner option)
a: clear, vibrant straw yellow color. pours a super frothy white head that fades to a frothy foam pretty quickly, unfortunately
s: lemongrass, grains, grass, lager spice. lots of fresh dough and some wort. a definite hop note in here too - zesty sweet citrus, slightly floral with a hint of peach juice. not sure i really dig citrusy hops this prominent in the aroma of a Pilsner, but they did 'Americanize' this so we'll see
t: interesting. grains, lemongrass, and a pretty noticeable stonefruit presence upfront. straw, sweet citrus and a some earthy bitterness. crusty bread and sweet raw grains behind that. finish has some Lager spice and a bit of peach sweetness
m: lighter mouthfeel with moderate carbonation (it could use a bit more carbonation IMO)
o: as i said above, it's interesting. the flavors work ok together for me, and there is nothing offputting in the flavor, but it doesn't harmonize as well (IMO) as a straight German Pilsner. Not a bad attempt at an American version, using citrusy hops, but i prefer the OG's
