a: some chill haze on this one. mostly clear straw yellow & amber color. poured a 2 finger fizzy bright white head that faded quickly to a thin film
s: extremely grainy. some caramel and a very faint woody note. a hint of butter and some very mellow earthy notes. sweet caramel and grains at the close
t: smooth sweet grains and caramel. a hint of grass and lemongrass. a very faint caramelized citrus note and lots more grains
m: light mouthfeel with strong carbonation
o: a seemingly middle of the road English Pale Ale. I'm extremely glad to see this style being brewed, but it's grainy note is a bit too unrefined, IMO. it's not bad in any way, and it's extremely easy to drink a lot of - i'd just like to see a bit more from the malts.
