On draught at the brewery. Served in a Willi Becher glass. It pours an almost clear, bright golden color with a modest, creamy, milk-white cap and lacing. The nose offers strong grapefruit, bitter lemon, and pine needles. Its taste follows. It's dry and is dominated by resinous pine and bitter grapefruit and lemon over a lite, dry, crackery malt base. For a West Coast style IPA its stripped-down in a good way. It's super lite and crisp for 7% ABV and drinks like a session ale. Overall, ECFU! is a nice, crisp, lite, and very drinkable West Coast IPA. It would be fine for any outdoor activity or to pair with lite cuisine.
