Yeah! this one, British yeast, understated hop character. Good Quaffability through sips at a time and a variety of food courses to drink down, but more English IPA to list than American.

a: super hazy matte burnt orange color with some copper and pale yellow notes. 2 finger frothy, off-white head
s: sweet melons, sharp pineapple juice, and tangerines. apricots, mangos, and fresh orange juice with some orange zest as well. strawberry kiwi and some nectarine. faint bready note
t: big melon note followed by a slightly earthy herbal note. tangerines, creamsicles, and some peach. mango and fresh orange juice along with a hint of dragonfruit
m: fluffy, super chewy medium mouthfeel with low-moderate carbonation
o: very very enjoyable NEIPA. chewy and tropical. nice fruit sweetness, but not overly sweet because it's tropical and a nice hop profile with good layers of flavor

No freshness date. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Moderately hazy Arnold Palmer yellow with 2-finger white frothy head with good retention and thick sticky lazy,
S: Aroma is tropical fruity with pineapple and guava, but the aroma is mostly esters with some fruity bubblegum and fruit blossoms.
T: Flavor is solid with pineapple, guava, and tangerine but it is equal parts ester and hopping. More to the hopping side, there is an interesting green, lemongrass hop note in the finish. Bitterness is low.
M: Feel is a little chalky and gritty.
O: Kick Theory is a nice hazy IPA but like a lot of others except for the interesting lemongrass note in the finish and aftertaste which give his hazy a little added zip.

Reviewed less than a week after the can release. Poured into a nonic pint glass. It pours a dense, murky, dirty tangerine color with an almost two finger cap of foamy, bright white foam and thick, clinging lacing. The smell is big and fruity with lots of lemon, lime, grapefruit, tangerine, stone fruit, and pine needles. The New Zealand hops shine with a great balance of tart lemon, lime, and grapefruit but sweeter tangerine and pomelo. Beneath the fruit is a firm base of wheat, flaked oats, and 2 Row. As it warms a bit I'm getting more white wine grape and pine sap. All of the flavors are complimentary. This ale has a nice, creamy mouth feel with a pleasant level of carbonation, and the 7.7% ABV gives it good substance. Overall, this is a strong collaboration between two very good brewers of IPAs. I enjoy New Zealand hops and the brewers have employed them very well in this ale.
