Pint pour on draught at the brewery. It pours a dense, murky, muddy orange color with a half finger of creamy, milk-white head and lots of thick, soapy lacing inside the glass. It's a nice looking draught pour and should be even more attractive from the can. The nose is fruity but subtle with lemon, grapefruit, and jammy stone fruits. The taste follows with a lovely blend of lemon and grapefruit, pineapple, berry, and subtle pine. The flavors are soft but distinct. There is minimal bitterness but a bit of hop burn at the finish. I really like the mouth feel: plush and creamy with a fairly low level of carbonation, and the 7.6% ABV gives it good substance without overpowering. Overall, Crab Mentality is an inspired recipe, well-executed by two very good brewers.
