We named this beer in support of all turntablists dedicated to their craft. The term "slabs" conveys a sense of weight and solidity, likening vinyl records to heavy, substantial objects. We concocted this batch with our long time friends over at @lost_tavern_brewing with whom we thoroughly enjoy getting weird with a couple times a year. A really fun hop combo on this one that gives notes of ever so slightly slightly grilled ?, fresh cantaloupe slices and ripened apricot that pairs amazingly with the passion fruit thiols from our house yeast blend. This sets the stage for a wonderful finish that is slightly sweeter and has an other side of the pillow soft mouthfeel. We hope you enjoy it as we ever so slowly usher in some nicer warm weather.

a: murky orange copper color with some dark yellow notes as well - very creamy looking. 1/2 finger white head
s: big creamsicle note followed by mango, guava, strawberry, and orange juice. some fruity bread, light sugar, and vanilla as well
t: sweet orange juice, guava, mango sorbet. strawberry kiwi, passionfruit and faint blueberry. caramel sugary note and creamsicle
m: medium mouthfeel with moderate carbonation
o: decent NEDIPA. sweet, but has balance. very tropical with a decent mouthfeel that isn't sugary (which i like in a NEDIPA)
