Poured from 500mL can into a dimpled mug. Best by March 2026. This can lists its alcohol at 5.2%.
Appearance: rich golden hue with a clear body and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: malt is sweetish with a reasonably good richness to it for a macro lager. It's actually decent!
Taste: dryish malt with a little graininess and a moderate hop bite. Nothing too fancy here, but again, for a macro lager, it's free of most of the adjuncty unpleasantness so many such beers have.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: certainly not the greatest Czech pilsner I've had, but compared to American beers at this price point (I think this can was around a dollar) it's streets ahead.

Międzyzdroje 20/7 2019. 50 cl bottle from Biedronka Supermarket. Classic beer label with a lot of gold medals and a signature in red by a Brewmaster.
Pours clear yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial Lacing.
Aroma is sweetish, fruity and with some prominent sour, sharp notes. Sweet pale malts, grains. Fresh grass. Slightly skunky. Sharp, sour citrus.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for bit.
Not fantastic - but it has a decent bitterness. But I could do without the skunk.
