Copenhagen 27/4 2019. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. As Staropramen Unfiltered. Pretty cool ornamental bottle with a classic Czech label with a hazy drawing of old buildings in Prague.
Pours hazy orange with a big white head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick blanket of foam covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is sweetish, fruity and moderately intense. Lemonade-ish orange, peach, pear and light tart notes.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery and lively texture.
Flavor has a fairly strong sweetness followed by a more moderate tart bitterness. Aftertaste is tart with lighter sweet undercurrent. Grows stronger as the beer warms up. Lingers shortly.
A bit too sweet Czech take on a Wheat beer.
