SWEET JEEBUS this has how much alcohol in it? The beer looks and tastes very good, and is sneaky sneaky at over ten percent abv. I’m pretty sure this is my first experience with this brewery, but holy smokes I’ll have to keep an eye out going forward. A very solid IPA disguised as a creamsicle. Thumbs up all around, yo.

It is a dark orange orange-amber colored brew, poured from a pint can into a clear Imperial pint glass. Without much head showing, little glass lacing is a sure bet. The smell of orange is subdued, considering the name, but it's there. Also included is the sweet sticky smell of a milkshake beer. No points against that, as it is as advertised. This has a rich orange quality to the taste, but there's much more going on. There's some hoppiness behind the malt, lactose and orange flavor. This is better than expected, because it is neither too sweet, nor too lactose muddled. It drinks rather smoothly for a brew carrying a 10.2% ABV. Overall, this is one of the better fruit infused IPAs out there. It's not going to be a go to for most, but it's a must try.
