I am definitely having this before dawn.
Pours the prerequisite jet black and there is a head that develops, but then disappears as though never there in the first place. The nose is of everything that is on the label, except for the blueberry. Malt replaces that, sadly.
It feels silky smooth (lactose?) and then finally the blueberry makes its appearance in the body. I was worried that the blueberry might ruin things, but it doesn't. It's an interesting twist. The coffee is quite muted though (except in the nose). Very boozy aftertaste, probably one of the booziest I had, despite it capping at 10%.
Overall, this is good. Yes, it's sticky sweet, yes, the nose could be somewhat more appealing, but all in all, it works. Will try again.
