I tried this at the brewery. It poured an opaque dark with white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had faint roast and fruit hop highlights. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with roast malt base with citrus peel presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

On tap at Das Biergarten. Black with an ample cream head. Smells of grapefruit and dark chocolate. Some roasted malt. Tastes quite malty. Roasted malt and sweet caramel. Some grapefruit behind it. Kinda not enough to balance it out, though. Medium sweet and medium bodied. First couple sips were tasty, but eventually the weight dragged it down.
