Copenhagen 26/9 2024. 33 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Black and gold can with the name of the brewery in bold white letters written vertically.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a very malty and roasted and a bit earthy odor. Dark roasted malts, brown sugar and toffee. Espresso coffee beans. Light carbonation. Thin, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. A tad watery. Lingers for a bi. Finish is semi-dry.
Delicious nose - but a bit thin in flavor.
