Copenhagen 22/9 2024. 33 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé Frb. F. Purple can with splotches of gold and Granda in white written vertically.
Pours clear mahogany with a mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles as a thin. patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a smoky and bit salty scent. Light touch of sour grains. Caramel and toffee. Salami and salt. Smoked wood.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. A tad sugary. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Delicious nose - but a bit on the sweet side.
