On tap at the brewery.
A: Pours a dark copper, rusted orange color. A one finger white head forms with good retention and lace.
S: Pine, citrus, and light resin all up front. Caramel malts and a light lingering bitterness. A very standard nose, but enjoyable for it is.
T: Pine and citrus up front, though it seems much lighter than the nose. The hops quickly gives way to cereal grains and a light caramel sweetness. No finish what so ever here. Everything is up front and gone in a second.
M/O: A lighter body than I would like for the style and ABV. Though very crisp and clean. Slightly above average, but would not stand on its own outside the brewpub.
An average IPA in every regard. I don't usually say this, but I wish there was more bitterness and late addition hops. Not bad for a one and done when visiting the brewery, but just can't hold up on its own IMO.
