My first offering from Red Cypress and it was certainly solid enough...
Black like the inside of a cow, this beer pours our like used motor oil and plops a thin (but not line thin), foamy head. There's even some lacing to mention, as well. The smell is light on malt and chocolate notes with a mouthfeel also light on carbonation, but light on creaminess too. I did enjoy the taste - a chocolaty taste (not the Hershey's bar kind but the cocoa bar kind with no sugar) - and there were hints cinnamon I thought I tasted. Anyway, a solid milk stout - one to keep an eye out for moving forward.

Drank this from the can while fishing for mangrove snapper so I don’t know how it looked but...the flavour was rich caramel and smooth texture. Moderate carbonation, good mouth feel. Was perfectly fine and would buy more. Caught a sheepshead so neither the beer nor I were skunked.

Very good Milk Stout, med dark color creamy coffee taste but no bitterness. A tad sweeter than most milk stouts and they absolutely got the carbonation perfect. Very nice brew gonna keep this one in my stock.

I got this on draft and on nitro. Super smooth. Nice head with a little lacing, almost black. I am generally not a nitro fan but this was nice. I would absolutely drink this again.

Palate Contaminants: other beer
The look is one of those brews that's very brown, but not quite black. Medium-fine, tan head that dissipates quickly. Minimal lacing.
Smell is green coffee with a bit of cream. It's not bitter or anything negative, but it's not notably complex.
If you've had one coffee-milk stout, then you've probably had... most of 'em. Anyways, this one is nice and mellow. There's a bit of anise and fig in the background, but that's about all for anything above and beyond. Slight sweetness that increases with temperature.
Again, it's mellow and not bitter at all. The residual sweetness is more than what's in the initial taste. Smooth carbonation.
