"Play it Loud is a NE IPA brewed with Wakatu and Lemon Drop hops making this beer a mouth watering citrus bomb. With notes of orange, pineapple and passionfruit, this IPA brings loud flavors."
From a 12 oz can (4 pack), undated but new distro. Pours a cloudy light orange with rocky white head, meringue-like chunk sticking around. Smell: pineapple juice, tropical fruit juice blend (passionfruit, orange, papaya are in play). Taste: leafy and herbal tea-like, then vaguely citrus juicy, then back to more vegetal and leafy flavors with mild orange citrus peeking thru. Seems like the dry hop to excess might have been to excess? Smells nice, tastes like a hop salad. Body is dialed in, but there's too much astringency to appreciate the hop flavors.
