Pillow Feathers is the softest IPA we have made to date. Double dry hopped with Citra, El Dorado and Mosaic making this our biggest hop addition at 9lbs of hops per barrel.

Another brew from Florida Man, pretty cool dude despite the propaganda.
Pours a dull, cloudy dark gold with a big 1.5" white head. Seemed like mostly Citra in the nose, a claim of Mosaic didn't really pan out for me. Mostly just orange, tangerine and grapefruit to the aroma.
Taste comes across a bit different, would have swore there was Galaxy hops here from the amount of pineapple that came across in the taste (not aroma though) but instead I'm thinking it was the El Dorado which at times is about the closest thing to Galaxy. Amazing to think this has 9lbs per barrel of hops, while hoppy, it didn't seem that hoppy, perhaps that is a nod to the hazy soft body? I tend to prefer a little more bitterness than this had to offer, I know, all counter culture and shit, but sometimes an ipa can be too smooth. At almost 8% it did a good job hiding that alcohol and making it pretty crushable. I'd say another winner from Florida, I'm really coming around on this state.

A: Pours an extremely murky medium golden honey in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate medium golden yellow + burnt orange + apricot + orange colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy beige head that slowly reduces to a large patch of medium thick film covering a little more than 50% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of slightly mottled very thin film covering the majority of the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy citrus/orange, tropical/mango, and tropical/pineapple (overripe) hops over the top of moderate aromas of biscuit + caramel + honey malts with a light to moderate amounts of honey sweetness.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of biscuit + caramel + honey malts with a light to moderate amounts of honey sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy citrus/orange, tropical/mango, and tropical/pineapple (overripe) hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away pretty quickly leaving lingering tropical + citrus hops flavors. Hints of alcohol in the finish.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp upfront with a hint of fluffiness mid-body and a moderate amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with decently well hidden alcohol. Enjoyable with a pleasant hop profile.
