650ml bottle fresh ( thanks Jason)

Puts a pale gold lightly hazed lager in the glass. Decent frothy cap that lasts and laces well. Moderate carbonation.

Aromas are very subtle but pleasant....sweet grains and hay, light citrus tones and a very light sulfide tone from the lager yeast.

Light bodied moderate malt spine, sandy grainy mouthfeel. Sharp dryish clean character.

Starts malty sweet with some citrus from the hops the hops then come forward mid way and in the finish to give a piney cedar twang to the buiscuit tastes....finish is clean dry and slightly bittering which caries into the after taste which is "tinny".

A hop biased pilsner in the Czech style very much like Kozel with longer hop bittering duration. Drinkable and refreshing.

650ml bottle poured in a pint glass. It's been awhile since I've taken any of their beers home in a bottle. Now they have labels for some beers whereas they used to just have a silk screened Bushwakker logo on the bottles.

Clear, straw yellow-pale gold in colour. Nice big 1 inch foamy, white head sits atop for quite awhile. Nice to see the head is still intact at the bottom of the glass. Big thick gobs of lace at the top with fine sheets coating the glass all the way to the bottom.

Hoppy aroma, some mild, almost fruity, sweetness. Perhaps a little mild.

Mildly grainy at the swallow with floral hops in the background. This grainy taste sticks around in the background all the way to the finish. A brief sweetness in the middle before being cut off by a strong, but not overbearing, floral hop finish. There is a hint of grapefruit along with the floral hops. Aftertaste is all floral hops and lingers nicely.

Creamy and smooth mouthfeel with medium body. Lightly carbonated. Really promotes an easy drinkability.

This lacks a little of that "hit you in the mouth WOW" factor, but I find that for most pilseners. This is a creamy, smooth pilsener that doesn't rely on just a hoppy flavour. Has some nice subtle characters to go along with the strong, floral hop finish. Recommended try for any pilsener fan or non-fan alike.

650ml bottle direct from the Brewpub. A light golden colored beer, it has an inch of head of small tight bubbles. Nice aroma of sweet grain smells, and flowery hops. There is some sweetness and hop flavor, but it is well balanced not too sweet or too bitter. Full bodied flavor, crisp with a fairly dry aftertaste. A very good pilsener.

A nice clear light golden colour with an ok head.

It has a slight hop smell.

It has a medium body with a sweet malt flavour. The carbonation is a little low for the style.

I enjoy drinking this beer but I feel that it is a little sweet for style. Starts at 1.047 og.
