660ml bottle poured into a pint glass. Got in a trade with rudge75.

Looks good. Pours with 1 inch of head off of a vigorous pour. Bit of lacing, hazey and very light straw colour. Carbonation is mild. Aroma is a bit nasty with a metallic note off the top, then some cooked veggies and a honeylike cloying sweetness.

Taste...oh Lord Jesus Christ this is so awful. Cooked veggies, sour corn skunk, sickly sweet syrupy nastiness with raw alcohol burn. Good God. In the mouth it's watery, thin, undercarbonated, dry in a chalky, unpleasant way. This is an offensive beer on so many levels. I don't know what the brewer is getting at, is this a legitimate try at a style that went wrong? Is it a ploy to appeal to the basest cheap mass-market drinkers? In any case, I'd rather chug a 2 litre of Stone Cold that waste more words on this offensive drain pour.

Pale yellow and hazy. 1/2 inch frothy off-white head at the pour, but does reduce to a thin cap after just a few sips. Nice lacing down the sides.

Mild aroma. Smells a little sweet, but there isn't really any evidence of hops or malt. A bit grainy. This isn't looking to lead down a positive road.

Taste is just really plain. Grainy with a bit of a formaldehyde quality. No aftertaste at all. There is a little sweetness at the start, but quickly disappears.

Thin, watery mouthfeel with little carbonation. Almost seems flat, except there are streams of bubbles coming up.

Yikes. This really reminds me of some pale wheat ales I've had from other brewpubs in town. Might be appealing to the macro drinkers or wheat ale drinkers, but I really found it just plain and lacking in flavour. Doesn't really taste bad, just doesn't taste like much at all.
