L- beautiful looking stout, had it draft on nitro, deep dark brown-black, lingering 3/4 finger, tan-cream colored head.
S- mellow aroma, mainly bakers chocolate, dark chocolate, roasty malt, touch of sweet malt and vanilla.
T- very approachable for 8.3, super chocolately and roasty, uber smooth on da nitro, creamy, delayed hints of vanilla and caramel. Smooth finish.
F- excellent on nitro, the creamy feel of the beer itself is accentuated by the nitrous and is very well balanced, silky as a chocolate stout on nitro should be.
O- solid beer, enjoyed the brew, although it was a pleasure on almost all categories, nothing really jumps out at you, however if you're in the mood for drinkable/tasty stout with a inconspicuous abv, you'll prob dig this.

Appearance: dark almost black, medium head, a lot of lacing
Aroma: not a lot,some toasted grains
Taste: very good, taste like the Georgetown 18 lb
Mouth feel: creamy

Deep dark black in the pint shaker with plenty of suds. A spritzy mouthful that grips the tongue with tangy dark flavors. Not a huge aroma but the long nose of hoppy aromatics is nice. Brewer says this has both milk and dark chocolate plus oats in the mix. Cascade hops, and it tastes more bitter than the 30 IBU they claim, so maybe it's the bitter chocolate.
Rich roasted grainy flavors with a pleasant malty sweetness. It's like a Milk Stout with a big dose of chocolate. Moderate bitterness. It's so sharp and tangy with an underlying fruitiness. Finishes with a more bitter edge and burnt raisins. A mineral tang at the end.
A really flavorful wintery black brew and highly quaffable. Just enough sweetness with a deep winey sensation that is thoroughly interesting. On tap at Empire Ale House in Mt. Vernon.

Served in bubble pint glass. Poured a very nice black with the expected thick, rich, creamy head that nitrogen pours deliver. The aromas featured a nice chocolate scent over a good grain foundation.
Not as much chocolate came across the tongue as the scent had promised, but the cocoa was still prominent. There was a solid roast and grain base for the chocolate to contrast with.
The body was very good, full, even, smooth and rich. Drinkability was excellent, I could see having multiples of these, more than once. Overall, a pretty good beer. I would have liked a bit more of a chocolate presence, but a lot of folks would have found that to be too much. Worth trying when you see it.
