Holy crap, thanks to wickedpete for this wonderfully wild and wooly winter brew!
Only downside, a real foamer had to take it REAL easy on the pour. Then, once it settles, an unfiltered amber oak resides, with the ivory head floating on top.
Now, the aroma and taste were, get this: Jim Beam bourbon! Maybe with a cut of coke. Perhaps a bit of burnt nuts tossed in the mix.
Body was a bit fizzy from the over-carbonation, still finished sharp and crisp. Feels like a 7% brew.

Pours a clear reddish copper with an off-white head that quickly dissipates. Some fruity aromas and some lightly bitter floral hop aromas as well.
Taste is lightly sweet and malty. Nice body for an amber lager. Malt gives way to some mellow underlying hops and lingers nicely on the tongue. Lightly fruity and nutty undertones. Tasty. A nice medium bodied lager and very smooth. Not sure I would have this as my winter seasonal but a pretty good lager on its own.
