Yellow orange, lightly veiled. A beautiful off-white foam.
Light hoppy smell, citrussy. Yeasty. Fruitiness, like peach.
Too much yeast in the taste. Citric notes.
Light to average body.
Quite useless.

I added this beer, uploaded a pic, and will be the first to review. A good friend brought it back to me from Italy.
First off, I'd like to say that it is difficult to determine the style. IPA stands for Italia Pale Ale and not India Pale Ale. Perhaps if Italy continues its progress in craft beer, there will soon be an official Italian Pale Ale style. Until then, I will go with American Pale Ale.
The color is straw with an orange hue, huge champagne like head. Herbal and floral aromas. Some earthiness. Also some sweetness. The taste has a lot of herbal, spicy and hoppy elements. The bitterness is medium to high. The palate is quite dry. I also wonder if there is brett in this? I say this because there is some funky earthiness. Perhaps this could also be considered a saison or wild ale? The feel is medium to light.
I'm glad I added this beer. It is quite unique. It was a bit bitter and spicy at times, but overall nice to drink. It will be interesting to see what other craft brews the Italians put out.
