I visited New District on 5/28/2023. It appears that they are closing after today. It sounds like they are hoping to find another location to re-open. I tried a stout and a schwarzbier, both were very nice. I wish I would have visited sooner.

I Ubered over to New District on a Friday evening because I had a couple of hours to kill before my flight from Reagan airport and at the recommendation of the hotel clerk (hmm.) A growing crowd from the neighborhood started filing in around 7. It seems this place does very well when they have events. Unfortunately, of the 6 beers I tried, all were either unremarkable or simply not worth drinking. See my reviews. The thing to get if you do go here are the saisons and related offerings. It's a fun gathering spot for this neighborhood, but if you care about good beer, head elsewhere. Dog friendly as long as poochie stays tied up outside.

Despite the great location, it isn't worth your time unless they make big changes to their beers.
This little warehouse brewery is tucked in next to a bike bath and a dog park in Arlington. The location alone gives this place unlimited potential. It's very inviting with the huge garage door at the main entrance, giving it a good open air atmosphere. Plenty of tables and a medium sized bar to serve patrons.
The staff was friendly and attentive, and there was a large selection of beers available for such a new brewery.
Unfortunately the good times ended once we had the beer. We tried 4 different beers but none of them fit the style they claimed, and they all had the same off flavors as the main flavor. Every beer was nearly identical despite the drastic color differences that made them look like decent beers. It was very odd. They all had a watery mouth feel and featured a prominent wet hay taste. In all 4 that was the primary flavor, followed by VERY light notes of each beers flavor.
Maybe they aren't storing their ingredients properly, or something is wrong in their process. It seems like they are doing something wrong, since every beer has the same flaw.
