maybe more of a kettle sour than a wild ale, not sure how its made, but its got a pretty simple lactic tartness to it without being particularly funky or curious on the yeast, not a criticism, just an observation. this is a neat sour, with peach and raspberry, and the name tells, and both fruits seem pretty equally proportioned in here, with maybe a slight edge to the raspberry because the tartness is more insistent than the peach, which is slightly sweet but the overwhelmed a little bit by the rising acidity later on. there is a neat summery essence to this, even though it also tastes more mature than necessarily fresh, the fruit is natural, and i think that helps with this. it kind of all hits at once, juicy and flavorful, but rather brief. it is what it says it is though, raspberry and peach, just a light wheaty malt base underneath. i start to get a touch of something a little funky on the fermentation side as it warms, but it never really materializes. cool beer, simple in some ways, but not boring, and nicely assembled...
