Pint can poured in to a nonic glass, dated 03/27/20.
Look- Hazy golden orange color. Solid off-white head that recedes slowly to a thin cap of foam. Light carbonation streams visible.
Smell- Tropical fruit (pineapple, mango and passion fruit), tangerine, peach, green grape/gooseberry, coconut, bready malt, faint pine, white pepper and other herbal/spicy hop notes.
Taste- Super tangy and juicy (think Sour Patch Kid candy). Similar to the aroma, tropical fruit, citrus, nectarine and grape, minimal bitter pine and spicy pepper with a solid malt backbone. Well balanced.
Feel- Medium bodied, dry and crisp. Moderate carbonation on the tongue.
O- I've never had a sour IPA before and this is really nice. Despite the lower ABV this couldn't be a session IPA though, the sourness would get overwhelming.
