neat can, neat hop profile, worthy of the medal printed on the side of the can,a gabf bronze. i could indeed drink this one all day, and its among the best beers ive had from these guys so far, light but real hoppy, modern and almost addicting, a late flavor climax, minimal on the grain side, well dry hopped, easy summer beer for sure. the pils aspect of this is a slight reach maybe, i dont get much of that malt, faintly crackery but not european really to me, and its so dry that the malt element is kind of absent, which is part of what makes a pils a pils. i also thing the lager yeast is darn near neutral here, so this is really driven by the hops, seems almost more like an american lager as a base than any type of recognizable pils, but thats okay, i absolutely love the hops in this. juicy without being cloying, ripe honeydew, meyer lemon, and lemongrass, softly tea-like, grassy, and quick, very much a southern hemisphere profile to me. restrained bitterness, some of these drink like india pale lager but not this one, more delicate than that, super crushable and refreshing, fresh to me too the hops are just singing in here. there is a little bit of chunky sediment at the bottom of the can which is unappealing especially in a beer like this that otherwise looks so awesome, high lasting white head several inches tall and holding above the rim of the glass awhile, consistent and excited carbonation too, bright yellow color, but coagulated flakes make the bottom not real desirable, my only real critique of an outstanding beer, great hops on this, less pils but thats okay, glad i have a few more pint cans of this to rip, perfect hot weather beer for the hoppy beer lover, and definitely underrated here on BA...

16oz can at Here's How. Foggy golden pour, small frothy white head. Light hoppy aroma with a nice bready backbone. Taste brings in some soft citrusy notes to the solid, biscuity base for a real smooth drink.

Clear yellow amber brew with adequate foam in the New Belgium snifter. Aroma of berries and lime peel with a whiff of pine. Robust flavors of green melon with a shot of lemon. This is more malty than many Pilsners, The fruity taste reminds me yet again of the "Cold IPA" sort of brew. Citrus aftertaste and moderate bitterness. Quite quaffable in it's sturdy fashion. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station.
