16oz can at Here's How. Pale golden pour, small frothy white head. Biscuity aroma, bready. Taste is malty, clean, mildly sweet. Nice mouth feel throughout.

just my second beer from these guy ever, cool to see them in idaho now, cool add to this market, excited to get into their stuff. found this one on tap, an easy and super minimal light lager but with just enough flavor to still seem crafty, a success i reckon, a fine beer with sushi, and something i could mindlessly drink all day, incredibly light body. they have one called ultra lite beams too, which i cannot imagine is lighter than this, but maybe a low calorie one, maybe its just been rebranded, but it seems to me this is about as light as craft beer can really go. it looks a bit watered down, nice shine to it but lighter than golden, almost bleached yellow, barely any color at all, short and quick fading white head, just no structure at all to this, but it is carbonated enough to be refreshing. its hard to give the aroma a high score because it doesnt really smell like anything, this isnt hoppy at all, the yeast is near neutral, and the grain is mellow as can be, its not a poor aroma, it smells like light beer, fresh enough, nothing off, but its too mild to really be appealing either, almost too minimal, even though its clean. the flavor is slightly better, which is to say has a little more malt character to it, still without much hops or fermentation character to speak of, a little generic bready lager thing going on, soft cereal grain, and some good minerality, i kind of want light lager to be light, and i dont mind this for being as subtle as it is overall because the execution is good, its not hiding anything, but its certainly unexciting beer to say the least. just a cold wetty, and i have no problem with that, maybe the lightest on the market, there is a time and a place, and i feel like early in the day over some raw fish is as good as any! keen to get on some more trap door stuff, im sure it will be more flavorful than this one, but i liked it anyway.
